Touring Artist Riders

Today in Music Law we looked at Touring Agreements and the whole touring process. Some of the most entertaining aspects are the demands made by artists for their backstage set-up and/or food/drink demands to be provided by the promoter or purchaser. Anyway, I was messing around on google and came across The Smoking Gun's list of some backstage riders from different artists. They have 258 different acts listed, it's pretty funny to some of the unique demands...check em out at: The Smoking Gun Backstage Riders

B.O.B. - Don't Let Me Fall

New track from B.O.B., a lli more of a rockish vibe to it, can't wait to see him again this weekend at Coachella!

From Idolator:
B.o.B is riding high on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Nothin’ On You” (it’s currently #2, just behind Rihanna’s “Rude Boy”), and today his new rock ‘n’ rap jam “Don’t Let Me Fall” was made available on iTunes. During an appearance on BET’s 106 & Park last month, the Atlanta artist promised his upcoming album The Adventures Of Bobby Ray (out April 27) would be a blend of hip hop, rock, country, bluegrass and reggae tunes—and from what we’ve heard so far, he wasn’t kidding! Thought it’s a bit more of a downtrodden tune than “Nothin’ On You,” we have to give the multi-talented Bobby kudos for showing not only his emotional depth, but also his guitar and piano skills. (The virtual one-man band also plays French horn and the trumpet on his upcoming LP!)

Cypress Hill feat. Pitbull and Marc Anthony – Armada Latina

Never been a huge Cypress Hill fan, not that I dislike them, by just not my fave, but I like this song and the sample used

My House Hollywood

If you haven't had a chance to hit up My House, I highly recommend it, a lot of Hollywood clubs try the theme/gimmick thing, but this one was really well executed and a really cool venue.
